On the highway, long trips, expect at least 26-27 MPG. MPG combined is pretty much stuck at 23-24 in summer. Owned my JGC 4 years, just rolled over 60K miles. Only in for routine oil changes, tire rotation, etc. Just rolled over 72K miles, had it 5 years. Plan on keeping it til the wheels come off. Been driving for over 50 years and this is the best car I've owned. I actually still have original brakes: just inspected last week during oil change and they are still good. Otherwise everything else on the car is working as good as it was on day one. During routine service the tech noted that the coolant reservoir was low and investigation found a small radiator leak. With just a whisker over 90K miles I've developed my first major problem. It is said that the 2015 models had some problems but I drive the most basic JGC model, the Laredo and theres … less to go wrong. ![]() Given the astronomical cost of new cars these days I just might drive until the wheels fall off. ![]() As noted last time the only problem in the first 100K miles was the radiator. Just had the 100K mile checkup and all is well.
